2. To use carry bags or store boxes, when you go shoping.
3. To use recycling napkins.

Photography

I like photography and I think that is one of the most amazing invention that the man has made.
I really enjoy to see photography, but actually I don´t like to take photographs. I don´t have a camera and when I´m travelling I always prefer that another person  take the photographs of the travel.  However I really like to see photographs and I have seen a lot of them, because my stepfather is a professional photographer. He never teaches me anything about photography, but I always ask to show me his photographs.
I think that photography is very important. A lot of different jobs, need photography. For example in journalism or scientific investigations, to take photographs is necessary. In daily life, photography is important too. I think that is the only way to keep your memories. Also if you want to show somebody a beautiful place or a nice people.

I really like this photograph, my stepfather, Nicolas Piwonka, took it. He is an expert photographer of nature.  He has traveled extensively throughout Chile, Antarctica, Easter Island and South America. So he has an extensive collection of photographs.

The picture shows the Chilean Altiplano. It shows the beginning of the night, you can see the beautiful moon with the last rays of sun. I think that is an amazing landscape. I like the colors that shows the picture, you don´t see everyday that colors in a typical landscape. I think that the picture looks like a landscape of Mars, that is really awesome! Also I like that photograph because it shows the beauty of nature and it remember that we have to protect our environment. 

Movie

Usually I don´t see many films. I like to go to the cinema, but I don´t have many time and it is not one of my favorite’s activities, so I almost ever go to the cinema. In fact, I don´t remember the last time that I went to the cinema.

 I never rent or buy films, because as I said before, see movies is not one of my favorite´s activities, so I´m not willing to spend money to watch a movie in my house. So if a want to see a movie, I watch it on my computer. All I have to do is download the movie from the internet, it is very easy and the more important point: is free!

Really I don´t have a favorite movie, but one of my favorite is “The Illusionist”. I have seen it a lot of times and I never get bored. The movie tells about the history of a man who performs amazing tricks, the people called him the Illusionist. Basically the movie is a love history between the Illusionist and Sophie, who is a noblewoman. I recommend this movie because I think that it hasn´t weak points and it is an amazing history for all people who love magic. Also the music of the film is very nice and make this movie a completely work of art.

A week in London

I´m going to spend a week in London and it’s going to be great! On Monday I´m going to visit the British Museum, I think that is very amazing and I have always wanted to go there. I´m going to travel to Holborn station, that’s the nearest tube station to the museum. I will not pay, because the entry is free. After that I´m going to visit the London eye, in that place you can have a beautiful view of London. It cost ₤ 25.65 and you can get there by tube, travel to Waterloo station.
On Tuesday I´m going to go to the Natural History Museum, I think that is very interesting to know about the nature´s secret. The closest tube station to the museum is South Kensington and I´m very lucky because the entry is free. After the museum I´m going the Tower of London, you can learn about the history of England there. I will travel to Tower Hill tube station and I will pay ₤ 19.80 for the entry.
On Wednesday I´m going to spend all day in the Kew Garden, the most fantastic botanic garden of London. I want to learn about the plant kingdom, so I really will enjoy the experience. The price of the entry is ₤ 12.25 and the closest tube station to Kew Garden is Kew Garden station, so I can easily get there.
On Thursday I´m going to visit Madame Tussaud’s Wax Museum, it is one of most important places of London tourism. The price of the entry is ₤ 28.80, it’s a little expensive, but is a wonderful place. Madame Tussaud’s Wax Museum is a five minutes walk from Baker Street tube station, so is very easy to get there. After that I´m going to visit the Stonehenge, I will pay ₤ 7.50 for a guide. I will get there by bus.
On Friday I´m going to spend all day in the Camdem Market, you can find there a lot of different kinds of articles, so definitely I will spend a lot of money buying things. I´m going to get there by Tube, the nearest station to Camdem Market is Camdem Town and is in the zone 2.

On Saturday I´m going to take a city tour. I think that is the better way for know the city. I´m going to take the city tour with some friends and it cost ₤ 295.00. After the tour I´m going to visit The Tate Modern Art Gallery. The admission is free and the closest tube station is Southwark.

On Sunday, my last day in London, I´m going to spend all day visiting the Science Museum. The museum has a lot of activities that you can do. It has gallery tours, science shows, films and special exhibitions. Also you can see stunning science films at their IMAX 3D Cinema. The entry is free and you get there walking ten minutes from South Kensington tube station.

Travel and holidays

I usually spend my holidays in Pichidangui. Pichidangui is a little town by the sea, near Los Vilos. I go to Pichidangui every summer with my family, it is a beautiful place, with a nice beach and a pleasant weather.  Also it´s a very quiet town, so you can take a good rest and be relaxed. You can do a lot of things in Pichidangui, I usually go to the beach at the morning and in the afternoon I do water sports. Sometimes I go to fishing with my grandfather, he love fishing. Last year a friend of mine went with us, it was great and we spend really good time together.

I always would to visit San Pedro de Atacama, because my mother and sister have been there and they told me that is wonderful place. Also I have an uncle that has a house in the town, so I can stay there if I don’t have money for a hotel. So definitely for my next holidays I´m going to go to San Pedro de Atacama.

I´m very lucky, because I have been to a foreign country more than one time. I have been to Argentina, Brasil and Colombia.  There are beautiful countries, but I always would like to visit Cuba, because I think that is a very interesting country, with nice beaches and warm weather.

My free time

Actually I feel that I don’t have enough free time. At university I have a lot of things to do, a lot of assignments and many books to read. For that reason I think that have to use my time well.  

Usually I spend my free time playing guitar. That’s my favorite hobby. Also I like listen to music or watch a good movie. If I have a lot of free time I usually read a book, I like it, but it’s not one of favorite hobbies. If I’m outside I like to do all kinds of sport. One of my favorite is riding a bike; it’s very exciting and also very healthy.

I remember when I was child I used to play with my dog. I spent hours playing with him. Actually I would like to try skydiving, it is an activity that I always want to do. But I think that it’s very expensive. So I will save money and fulfill my dream !

Bruce Trigger

Bruce Trigger was an important Canadian archaeologist, anthropologist and etnohistorian who worked in the history of archaeology. He was born in 1937 in Canada and die in 2006. He received a doctorate in archaeology from Yale University in 1964 and then he worked as a teacher in North-western University.
He wrote a book about the history of archaeology called “A History of Archaeological Thought”. In that book he explains the birth of archaeology, in the book he says that in the past the way of make archaeology was very different and was influenced by catholic religion. Also he explains all the changes that archaeology experienced through the years. Those changes are very important because they help us understand the current work of archaeologists. 
His archaeological theory talks about how the social and political contexts of research effect archaeological interpretation. For example he says that some archaeological interpretation reflected and legitimated stereotypes of Native American peoples and expressed the dominant political ideas and interests of Euro-American culture. This idea is very important, because reflect the importance of make a good archaeological interpretation.

I like Bruce Trigger because their works help to explain the importance of the archaeological work and the influence that it has in the society.
